About Us

Born and raised in Ottawa, Guy Hollinworth is a professional woodworker and land conservationist. After graduating with a degree in history from Trent University he went back to college, first studying timber framing at College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, British Columbia. On graduating, he worked for a Swiss hand-cut timber frame company. After gaining experience in a production company, Guy chose to specialize further and took the fine woodworking diploma program at Selkirk College in Nelson, BC.
Guy returned to the Ottawa region to establish his woodworking practice, first restoring and transforming the century barn on the family farm property into a highly functional carpentry shop.
Guy believes it is essential to be part of the whole process, from acorn to table. He is a tree farmer, lumberjack, sawyer, timber framer and fine woodworker.
